The “Fit for Jobs” project aims to improve employability in Kosovo, esp. in view of the green and digital transformation. The current project phase will continue to address challenges in the VET and employment policy as well as the labour market while integrating green and digital competencies into learning programmes.

The assignment is organized in two work packages:

Policy advice: The aim is to contribute to the strategic planning and development of the VET (Vocational Education and Training) component within the Kosovo Education Strategy 2027–2031, ensuring alignment with national priorities, international frameworks such as SDG 4, and lessons learned from past strategic cycles. A particular focus will be placed on mainstreaming greening in VET through situation analysis, stakeholder consultation, and integration of green skills into strategic objectives and implementation measures.

This work will also provide a comprehensive analysis of the VET sector and support the formulation of a results-oriented, inclusive, and implementable strategy.

Curriculum Development for 3 profiles in Dual VET.

The aim of this process is to build upon the existing work, develop new dual VET curricula for existing VET profiles in the field of sustainable energy, circular economy and bio- economy (taking into consideration the green and digital transformation, as well as gender equality as crosscutting themes in all related profiles) and to ensure the integration of green and digital transformation in existing dual VET curricula.
