The project aimed to support the economic regeneration of Bosnia and Herzegovina by increasing employment through effective labour market policies. This included the development of a coherent employment strategy in line with EU approaches, and the set up of instruments for its implementation.

The project worked on three components:

• Design of a Framework Law on Labour;
• Development of a National Employment Strategy and a National Employment Action Plan;
• Development of a Labour Market Information System and a National Reporting System on Employment and Labour Statistics.
