This Financial Cooperation aims at strengthening the TVET sector in Namibia. The purpose of the project is to increase and improve the access to private and public TVET institutes. The overall objective is to contribute to the employability of participants of vocational education and training and thus to reduce the high unemployment rate amongst the youth by increasing the labor market relevance of TVET. To this end, four (4) selected TVET institutes shall be supported through investments in physical infrastructure, required training equipment and in administration/IT activities. For this first phase, the following four institutes have been selected (more details on these institutions will be shared in the tender phase): Rundu Vocational Training Center (RVTC), Windhoek Vocational Training Centre (WVTC), KAYEC Windhoek, COSDEC Rundu.
