The stand-alone TC module "Improving the employment and income situation for Tajik migrant workers in Tajikistan" implemented by GIZ on behalf of the BMZ is assigned to the scope of bilateral TC. The module aims to improve the employment and income perspectives of migrant workers and households affected by labor migration and works towards this objective in two outputs:

Output 1: Qualification offers for labor migrants and households affected by labor migration.
Output 2: Capacity development of state and civil society consulting institutions.

 

Experts' Profiles:

1. Team Leader

  • University degree (Diplom/Master) in vocational education, business education, economics or related, relevant social science courses
  • Business-fluent language skills in German or English and Russian
  • 15 years of professional experience in the education, vocational training or in-company training sector
  • 5 years in demand-oriented qualification measures
  • 5 years management experience as team leader in projects or manager in companies
  • 5 years experience in projects in the Central Asia region
  • 6 years experience in DC projects

2. Curriculum Development Expert

  • University degree (Diploma/Master) in education, educational sciences, vocational or business education, economics or related, relevant social science courses
  • Business fluent in English or German and Russian 
  • 10 years work experience in the education sector
  • 5 years professional experience in the development of demand-oriented training and further training measures in cooperation with the economy
  • 3 years of experience in DC projects

3. Peer-to-peer Learning Expert

  • University degree (diploma/master) in economics, Business administration, business psychology, economics or related, relevant social science courses
  • Business fluent in English or German and Russian
  • 10 years of professional experience in the consulting of founders of a new business
  • 3 years of experience in the development of business start-up training for migrant workers
  • 3 years of experience in DC projects
  • Other: Certificate for the implementation of business start-up training (CEFE, or similar)

 

4. Expert Pool 1

  • University degree (Diplom/Master) in vocational education, Business Administration, Social science (with training in business start-up consulting), Political sciences, international development studies, economics (with training in M+E)
  • Very good language skills in Russian and English
  • 10 years of professional experience in vocational training / business start-up consulting / management and organizational development
  • 5 years of professional experience in consulting public institutions, associations, civil society on strategy formation, organizational development / development of teaching and learning materials, curricula, pedagogical concepts, didactic formats / consulting on impact-oriented monitoring in DC (concepts, tools, instruments, trainings/workshops on M&E)
  • 1 year experience in Central Asia
  • 3-5 years in DC projects
  • Work experience in working with migrants

5. Expert Pool 2

  • University degree (Diplom/Master) in vocational education, Business Administration, Social science (with training in business start-up consulting), Political sciences
  • Very good language skills in Russian and English
  • 10 years of professional experience in vocational training / business start-up consulting / management and organizational development
  • 8 years of professional experience in the development of demand-oriented training and further education, curricula, teaching and learning materials, development of didactic formats / consulting of educational institutions, associations and organizations for strategy formation, organizational development, management / cooperation with migrants* and vulnerable groups
  • 5 years experience in Tajikistan
  • 3 years in DC projects
  • Work experience in working with migrants

Liberia, Capacity Development for Technical vocational education and training by the private sector

The specific objective is strengthening TVET in selected sectors (including related to green economy) through development of a demand-driven model of TVET provision under the leadership of the private sector in Liberia.
